Volunteer Fair Keeps Weston Informed

The Weston Community Service Coalition will provide potential volunteers with all they need to know to make a difference at its first annual Weston Volunteer Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.

Representatives from 20 local organizations will be at Norfield Church's parish hall to share details of their organization and ways to get involved. The Aspetuck Land Trust, Kiwanis Club of Weston, Meals on Wheels, Weston Arts Foundation, Weston Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts of Connecticut, Weston Domestic Violence Task Force and Weston Education Foundation, Emergency Medical Services, Food Pantry, Garden Club, Weston Historical Society, Newcomers and Neighbors Club, SafeRides, Weston Senior Center, Weston Supports the Troops, the Sustainability Committee, volunteer fire department, Weston Women's League and Women's Club of Weston will all be there, according to coalition member Bob Gardner.
