The Wait Is Over: Westport Farmers' Market Offers Pop-Up Shop In Norwalk

WESTPORT, Conn. — Are you counting the days until the Westport Farmers’ Market opens for summer?

Westport Farmers Market is so excited to start the season, some vendors have created a pop-up shop to tide fans over until May.

Count no more! Several of the most popular vendors announced on Facebook that they have started a pop-up market to fill the gap until opening day.

The pop-up market takes place on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wave Hill Breads Cafe in Norwalk.

Vendors may change weekly, but some of those participating are Sankow’s Beaver Brook Farm, Beltane Farm, Healing Home Foods, Izzi B’s Allergen Free Cupcakes, Fort Hill Farm, Champagne Tea, Nit Noi Provisions, Ox Hollow Farm and Wave Hill Bread.

As for the summer market? Vendors hope to have it up and running on May 18 at the usual location, 50 Imperial Avenue, Westport.
