See Jim Fowler At New Pond Farm's Safari 5000 Fundraiser In Redding

REDDING, Conn. -- New Pond Farm in Redding is holding a fundraiser dubbed Safari 5000 on Saturday with Jim Fowler, former host of Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom."

The fundraiser will be held at the Redding Country Club, 109 Lonetown Road, West Redding. The event begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. after which Fowler will be leading a program featuring live birds of prey. A live auction will be held at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $100 for New Pond Farm members and $150 for nonmembers. All proceeds will go toward supporting its environmental education programs. Register here or call 203-938-2117 for more information on Safari 5000.
