EASTON, Conn. Strap on your roller skates or roller blades for the Easton Community Center's Rock & Roll Skate Afternoon on Saturday, Oct. 8. Groove on your skates while listening to music from the '80s, '90s and today.
Bring sneakers, too, so you can test your rock climbing skills on Mount ECC. The first and final half hours 1 to 1:30 and 3:30 to 4 p.m. will be open rock climbing for participants age 6 and up. Come see whether you can reach the 24.5-foot apex and ring the cowbells! Register in advance to schedule a 20-minute block for your family to climb together or to order pizza for lunch. Rock climbing waivers are required for participants before climbing Mount ECC.
The event will be from 1 to 4 p.m. It costs $25 for members and $35 for non-members, with a charge of $10 for pizza with an additional cost for toppings.
