Check your brain at the door Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are stupidly hilarious in "Just Go With It."
The movie revolves around a player named Danny (Sandler) who goes a little too far and gets himself into a ton of trouble. Danny's trick to getting girls' attention involves a fake wedding ring that he carries with him. He is a plastic surgeon, and his assistant Katherine (Aniston) is the only woman who knows the truth about Danny.
The two of them are extremely close even though they are complete opposites in personality. When Danny finds a girl named Palmer (Brooklyn Decker), he thinks he might have true feelings for her. But she finds his fake ring thinking it's real and wants nothing to do with him.
So Danny decides to pretend Katherine is his wife and that they are about to get divorced. But things get complicated when Palmer discovers that Katherine has children. The lies just keep piling up after that.
This film is absolutely hilarious. You find yourself laughing out loud every minute. However, it is quite immature and has some slapstick comedy. It also is extremely predictable. I knew what would happen in the end after seeing the trailer. The story has been done numerous times, and it's not very original. I also didn't feel much of a connection between Aniston and Sandler. They weren't believable as two people in love.
I think many kids and teenagers would enjoy this movie because of the actors and the comedy. But in terms of a good production, it falls short. I give "Just Go With It" a 5 out of 10 for its entertaining quality but overused story.
