Joy to Easton: Christmas is Coming

Tis the season for holiday celebrations, and the churches of Easton are no exception. Here's a look at what's going on this Christmas weekend.

Friday, Dec. 24:

5 p.m.: Christmas Eve Services. Shaggy, Smelly Sheep

11 p.m.: Christmas Worship

St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church

Friday, Dec. 24:

5 p.m.: Eve of the Nativity of our Lord. Vespers at 5 p.m. followed by a carol sing-along.

Saturday, Dec. 25:

10:30 a.m.: Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ. No Sunday School. Divine Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. Epistle: Galatians 4:4-7. Gospel: Matthew 2:1-12. The Church Choir will present a Christmas concert after Divine Liturgy. Festive reception will follow in the Hall. Everybody is welcome.

Sunday, Dec. 26:

9 a.m.: Sunday after Nativity of our Lord. Synaxis of the Most Holy Theotokos. Divine Liturgy (E) at 9 a.m. Divine Liturgy (M) at 10:30 a.m. Epistle: Galatians 1: 11-19; Galatians; 5:22-6:2; Gospel: Mathew 2:13-23 (Flight in Egypt); Matthew 11:27-30. There will be no Sunday School.

Saturday, Dec. 25:
