Halloween Takes Over Westport At Annual Children's Parade

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Pack up your little ghosts and goblins for the Westport Parks and Recreation Department's annual Children’s Halloween Parade on Oct. 29.

This event, for children 7 and under, will go up Main Street, along Avery Place and to Town Hall.

The parade will include entertainment, refreshments and a small gift provided on Veterans Green.

Children and parents are asked to meet on the corner of the Post Road and Main Street at 3 p.m.

There will be no parking on Main Street between 2 and 4 p.m. while the parade is taking place.

In the event of rain, all festivities will be moved into the Westport Town Hall beginning at 3 p.m.
