EASTON, Conn. Eleanor Jakim Coletta, 72, of Easton, died Wednesday, April 4, at St. Vincent Medical Center.
Born Dec.19, 1939, in Wildwood, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Pristas Jakim. Coletta was a former administrator in the Annual Giving Department at Fairfield University for over 20 years. She was a devoted parishioner at Christ the King Church, as well as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
Coletta is survived by her husband of 47 years, Carl A. Coletta; a daughter, Christine (Eric) Booth of Trumbull; a sister, Rosemary (Bud) Christian of Huntington; five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home in Trumbull. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Reading of the Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
