Easton To Light Up With Halloween Events

EASTON, Conn. – Easton refuses to let a little snowstorm and power outages stop its fun, so Monday night’s Halloween festivities will go on as planned.

First Selectman Thomas Herrmann said the Easton Lions Halloween bonfire is still happening. “Come on, we’re not letting a little storm spoil all our fun,” he said.

The bonfire, which has been a tradition in Easton for nearly 50 years, will be held in the rear parking lot of Helen Keller Middle School on Sport Hill Road. The festivities begin at 7 p.m., and the bonfire is set to begin at 7:15 p.m. Free apple cider and doughnuts will be available. Children can enter a Halloween costume contest.
