EASTON, Conn. Easton parents can get a break from the kids this weekend so they can get their holiday shopping done, courtesy of the Easton Community Center.
On Friday, Dec. 16, teens can come to the center from 6:30 to 10 p.m. for the Parents Night Out program. The event offers a night of games and dancing at a disco party while moms and dads get the night off. The evening costs $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.
On Dec. 17, the center is offering Kidless Shopping Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Kids get to play games, do crafts and dig into a pizza lunch while mom and dad work on their holiday gift lists. This program is $35 for members, $45 for nonmembers.
Anyone wishing to attend either events can call the Easton Community Center at 203-459-9700 to register. The center is located at 364 Sport Hill Road.
