Easton Kids Can Make Gingerbread Houses

EASTON, Conn. – Children will be able to let Santa know what they want for Christmas a little early this year as he makes his way to the Easton Community Center to have breakfast with all the little ones.

At the event, children can also make crafts and take a picture with jolly old St. Nick. Breakfast is from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 10 at the Sport Hill Road center and is open for children ages 2 and up. The community center is asking each family to make a donation of $5 per child.

After the breakfast, children can continue the fun by decorating gingerbread houses, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Kids will learn how to use their own pastry bag and make edible candy decorations for the gingerbread houses. Each child will be able to take home his or her creation.

Making gingerbread houses costs $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers.

For more information, can call the Easton Community Center at 203-459-9700.
