Easton Center Seeks Volunteers as it Grows

The Easton Community Center has provided an assortment of activities for people of all ages for eight years. Now its Board of Directors seeks additional members to lead the center as it continues to grow and thrive.

"The ECC Board of Directors is reaching out to those potentially interested in joining our board, from inside and outside of Easton," Chairman Barry Raskin said in an email. "This is a good opportunity to get involved in something that directly benefits your children and the community."

The board meets at the center for two hours on the second Thursday of each month. "We ask that you be a member of the ECC, but there is no other financial commitment," Raskin added. "Our board members have varied expertise and interests and help to provide our team of professionals with guidance."

Raskin said board members assist with fundraising activities throughout the year, such as the golf tournament, the wine tasting and the Harvest Tea.

The Easton Community Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and functions solely through contributions and relies on volunteers to function. The group provides activities such as Yin Yoga, arts and crafts, jazzercise, T-ball, dances and more.
