It's a game of speed, accuracy and agility. It's a game of ducking foam balls with lightning speed while whipping them at an opponent even faster. It's Dodgeball, and it's back at the Easton Community Center.
This season, the ECC Dodgeball League has returned in full force. Two teams at a time will battle it out and see who reigns supreme in all of Easton. Anyone hit by a ball thrown by an opposing team member is out for the round, unless your own teammate catches another ball mid-flight, forcing out the one who threw it. Once a whole team is eliminated, the round is won. Best out of three wins the entire game.
Boys and girls ages 10 to 13 are welcome to compete in the league, which meets Mondays from Oct. 25 to Dec. 13 from 4 to 5 p.m. The eight weeks of play are followed by a playoff tournament to determine who is truly the best team in town.
To register, call 203-459-9700, send a fax to 203-445-1798 or visit the ECC at 364 Sport Hill Road in Easton.
