Create Holiday Ornaments at the Easton Library

EASTON, Conn. – Easton Moms and dads can let the kids be in charge of holiday decorations this year as they create their own holiday ornaments at just one of the many activities offered at the Easton Public Library this week. Here is a complete list:

Tuesday, Nov. 29

• 10:30 a.m.: Baby and Toddler Be-Bop. Music, movement and fun. Ages 6-36 months. 

• 2:15 p.m.: Preschool Story Time. Stories and activities for ages 3 and older. 

Wednesday, Nov. 30

• 10:30 a.m.: Baby and Toddler Be-Bop. Music, movement and fun. Ages 6-36 months. 

• 4 p.m.: Hotspots Head Band. Children can come and create their own designer headband; kindergarten to second grade. Registration is required.

• 6:45 p.m.: Screen Leaf Ornament. The bigger kids can create their own holiday ornaments. Open to kids who are in the third grade or above. Registration is required.

Thursday, Dec. 1

• 2:15 p.m.: Preschool Story Time. Stories and activities for ages 3 and older. 

• 4 p.m.: Big Kid Story Time. Stories and activities for kids who are in kindergarten or above. 

•  4 p.m.: Teen Advisory Group. Teens are encouraged to come and share ideas about future books, magazines, music and programs at the library. The program is open to all tens in the eighth grade or above. Anyone interested in joining should contact the young adult librarian.
