EASTON, Conn. Parents can get the little ones moving and grooving during Baby & Toddler Be-Bop, one of the many scheduled events at the Easton Public Library.
Tuesday, Jan. 24
10:30 a.m.: Baby & Toddler Be-Bop! Music, movement and fun for ages 6-36 months. Drop in.
2:15 p.m.: Preschool Story Time Stories and fun activities for ages 3 & up. Drop in.
Wednesday, Jan. 25
10:30 a.m.: Baby & Toddler Be-Bop! Music, movement and fun for ages 6-36 months. Drop in.
4 p.m.: Decoupage A Winter Scene Let the kids decorate their own jar that can be a great pencil holder or votive holder. Registration is required. Grades K-2.
6:45 p.m.: Coloring Book Come and create a homemade coloring book. Registration is required. Grades K to 2.
Thursday, Jan. 26
2:15 p.m.: Preschool Story Time Stories and fun activities for ages 3 & up. Drop in.
4 p.m.: Big Kid Story Time Stories and a themed activity. Grades K & up. Drop in.
4 p.m.: Tweens Book Club This months reading is The Maze Runner by James Dasnher. Contact the childrens librarian if interested. Grades 6 and up.
Saturday, January 28
Collage Workshop with Pop Artist Michael Albert In this family-oriented workshop, participants will create their own collages using cereal boxes and other consumer packaging. Each participant will receive a signed poster by the artist. Registration is required. Two sessions will be offered. Session one is 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for ages 5 to 10. Session two is 1 to 3 p.m. for ages 11 and up. Snow date will be Saturday, Feb. 11.
