for Clothing Drive Help

EASTON, Conn. — Joel Barlow High School students collected winter coats for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission during the holidays in conjunction with the national foundation Warm Coats & Warm Hearts. The drive was spearheaded by Barlow student Morgan Jordan of Easton, who wrote this letter thanking the community.

After dropping off the last load of winter clothes to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission, I would like to extend a thank-you to all those who helped make the 2nd Annual Joel Barlow Winter Clothing Drive a success. Hundreds of winter clothing items were collected, and each item will go to someone in need this winter.

Each person who helped carry out or advertise the drive truly made a difference. It is comforting to know that I live in a community of such overwhelmingly generous and helpful people. Again, thank you.
