Band Becomes Heartbeat of Easton

The Heartbeat Dance Band had Easton residents on their feet and boogieing Sunday evening at the Easton Community Center Gazebo.

Locals turned out with lawn chairs and picnics in tow to support the band and its two Easton members, Bob and Barbara LaValle. The band has been performing at weddings and at corporate and other private events in the area for years. On Sunday, many were unable to stay in their chairs as the band performed a variety of classic and contemporary tunes.

Sarah Donovan said that although she has not been to every concert in the ECC summer series, this was a show she didn’t want to miss. “It’s local people that we know and want to support, so we’re here to enjoy their music.”
