Easton ceramics artists of every style will get a chance to show offand even selltheir handcrafted pieces Saturday, Oct. 9, courtesy of the Easton Arts Council and Michelle Sandone.
The arts council inaugurated the event last year but hoped for a larger turnout, Sandone said. But this year, it's back with new local ceramics artists eager to display their work. Artists can sell their pieces to showgoers or place it out for all to admire.
The art show will be at the Easton Public Library Community Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All artists that work with clay are invited to participate.
The show will also feature live demonstrations on the pottery wheel by Greg Cochenet, a ceramic artisan and educator at Southern Connecticut State University. Free ceramics painting will be offered for children to experience hands-on ceramics.
To register for the show or to get more information, email Michelle Sandone, or call her at 203-442-7216.
