Anne Holdridge of Weston dies at 84

WESTON, Conn. – Anne A. Holdridge of Weston died March 30 in Winston-Salem, N.C. She was 84.  

Holdridge was born July 28, 1927, in New Rochelle, N.Y. She also lived in Harrison, N.Y., and Cheshire, Conn.  

A retired bookkeeper and the former comptroller of the Town of Harrison, Holdridge enjoyed politics, bridge, cooking, gardening and reading.  

She was predeceased by her husband, Norman F. Holdridge, her sister, Penny Tallarini, and her brother, Michael Tallarini. She is survived by her sons, James Holdridge of Mahopac, N.Y., John Holdridge of Athens, Ga., and Jefferson Holdridge of Winston-Salem, as well as five grandchildren and three daughters-in-law, Louise Holdridge, Ruth Harman and Wanda Balzano. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Unitarian Church in Westport. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Public Broadcasting Service, American Lung Association or Doctors Without Borders. Arrangements are in care of Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Homes
