The celebration of all things canine kicks off at 10 a.m. at Winslow Park and runs all day until 6 p.m.
An estimated 400 dogs — and a whopping 1,500 humans — showed up at last year’s inaugural event and organizers are expecting even more this year for vendors, food trucks, face painting, a doggie fun zone obstacle course and more.
Competitions range from Best Tail Wagger to Best Kisser and there will be demonstrations by police, hunting and guide dogs. Veterinary seminars on allergies, senior dogs, tick-borne illnesses and more will be held throughout the day.
