The headlining cars of the auction will be a pair of 1930 Packard 734 Speedsters from the collection of Thomas Kerr. One is a Runabout, a model that has sold for more then $500,000 at other auctions, and the other a Phaeton, which has garnered nearly $1 million at auction for similar models.
The Packard speedsters are two of only 15 of their kind that still exist today.
Other Packards in Kerr's collection that will be up for auction include a 1934 Packard 1107 coupe roadster and a restored 1929 Packard 645 roadster.
Other rare cars up for auction include a 1920 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, a 1934 LaSalle convertible, a collection of six 1931-1933 Chrysler LeBaron Custom Imperials including, a 1933 CL Sport Phaeton, a 1931 CG LeBaron Convertible Coupe, a 1932 CL LeBaron Convertible Sedan and a 1931 LeBaron Roadster and Dual-Cowl Phaeton.
Dragone will also host an all-day preview of the cars open to the public on Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. That will be followed by a cocktail party for classic car collectors, prospective bidders and friends.
Dragone Classic Motorcars is located at 176 Post Road West in Westport.
