Let's Dance: Westport's Nile Rodgers Joins Jimmy Fallon On 'SNL'

WESTPORT, Conn. — To celebrate the first-ever coast-to-coast broadcast of "Saturday Night Live," guest host Jimmy Fallon led a flash mob in a jubilant performance of David Bowie's classic "Let's Dance."

And joining in the segment, which featured Fallon, Harry Styles and dozens of dancers parading through the hallways at 30 Rock, was Westport's Nile Rodgers, who produced the hit song from April 1983.

Rodgers grabbed a guitar to play along on the 1983 hit song, the title song on the album "Let's Dance," which he produced for Bowie. It was his biggest selling album and also included the hit singles "China Girl" and "Modern Love."

Rodgers, a producer, songwriter, musician, composer, arranger and guitarist, is the lead guitarist and co-founding member of the band Chic.
