With the prospect of cold weather looming, John Blasko wasn't looking forward to making due with a drafty front door. Thanks to Mr. Handyman, he won't have to.
"They replaced the door and insulated all around it," said Blasko. "In the process of doing that, they discovered the deadbolt from the old door wouldn't work correctly, so they went out and got a new one."
In addition to the front door, Mr. Handyman put a screen door on the back entrance and installed three carbon monoxide detectors in the house. They also performed some weatherization and did a before-and-after test on the house's air-tightness.
"They must have made five or six trips to do everything," Blasko said. "They were very helpful, very willing to please, which I think is fairly rare these days. I'm senior citizen on a fixed income so I really appreciate what they did."
