The Westchester Wine School offers an Italian wine series which kicks off Tuesday, September 20. The first class focuses on the Piedmont region, the countrys highest-producing and most award-winning wine area.
Appropriately, the class will take place at Ristorante Buona Sera in Mount Vernon with the school's wine director Ned Towle. Students will taste up to ten Piedmont wines, and learn about texture, aroma and accent flavor.
Additional classes follow every Tuesday through November 8. Individual classes can be purchased for $65.00, or try all four for $240.00. Details are on the schools website.
