Flu Shots Offered Saturday At Redding Community Center

REDDING, Conn. -- The Bethel Visiting Nurse Association will host a flu shot clinic at the Redding Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Flu vaccinations will be available to anyone over 6 months old. The nasal spray vaccine will be available to anyone between 2 and 49 years old who is not pregnant. The high-dose option for seniors 65 and older will also be available.

The clinic will bill the following insurances for payment: Aetna,AnthemBC/BS,ConnectiCare and Medicare. There is no charge for anyone under 4 years old.

If not covered by insurance, the regular vaccination is $35, the nasal spray is $45 and the high dose option is $55.
