Westport, CONN. - The Westport Farmers Market (WFM) is nearly ready to kick off another season of locally delicious living. The market is set to open May 24, but this Saturday, April 28, WFM locavores are teaming up with socially conscious clothier Eileen Fisher to host a party celebrating sustainability in all its forms.
The Eileen Fisher store, located at 160 Main St., and WFM want you to drop in from 1 to 5 p.m. for an afternoon of local food samples and shopping. Ten percent of proceeds from the event will be donated to the WFM.
Eileen Fisher prides itself on local involvement in the communities where the company does business, as well as in its efforts to reduce the impact of manufacturing, according to the companys website.
Its an opportunity to shop for your spring wardrobe while benefitting one of Westports most delicious institutions.
