Head on over to the Westport Library’s annual three-day Holiday Book & Gift Sale, which is sure to have something for everyone from books and collectibles to unique products made in the library’s own MakerSpace.
The sale runs from Friday, Dec. 1, through Sunday, Dec. 3 in the library’s Great Hall. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The 13th annual sale offers signed titles, books on photography, home and entertainment, cooking, children’s hardcover, as well as DVDs, CDs and holiday-themed items.
In addition the Library Store has fair trade and handmade items, jewelry, bags, baby booties, decorations, greeting cards and more.
The store features two products that were designed and created by local makers Bonnie Tyler and Marci Mariani in the MakerSpace using the uPRINT 3-D printer. Tyler created the Negg, a hard-boiled egg peeler, and Mariani created the Squarely Alex headband, which has a unique shape and flexible material that will stay on one’s head securely without squeezing.
All proceeds support library programming.
