Saturday, Sept. 22

Kiwanis Club of Weston breakfast meeting: 8:30 a.m. 64 Norfield Road, Weston.

Weston Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to noon. Farm fresh produce and children’s activities make the Weston Farmers Market fun for the entire family. Route 57 and High Acre Road, Weston.

Fairfield Kiwanis Club Arts and Crafts Fair: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The juried arts and crafts fair features a bake sale, a mum sale and live entertainment. Town Hall Green, Old Post Road and Beach Road, Fairfield.

Easton Country Fair Cow Chip Raffle: 1 p.m. A pie-eating contest, apple pie bake-off and a raffle with a $500 prize take place at the event sponsored by the Friends of the Easton Library. Library Green, 691 Morehouse Road, Easton.

Grand Funk Railroad concert: 8 p.m. The Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 East Ridge Road, Ridgefield.

Sunday, Sept. 23

Georgetown Farmers Market: 10 a.m. 4 Old Mill Road, Redding.

Alden Sherman Classic: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A benefit car show in honor of Alden Sherman, a 94-year-old Weston resident who has owned many classic cars. Proceeds benefit the Weston Senior Activities Center. Weston High School, School Road, Weston.

An Afternoon with Irving Berlin: 4 to 5:15 p.m. The Two of Us Plus One, a vocalist and pianist trio, performs the music of Irving Berlin in a free event celebrating his 125th birthday. Easton Public Library, 691 Morehouse Road, Easton.
