Lightfoot Summer Series 9-mile Race: 8 a.m. Calf Pasture Beach, Norwalk.

Westport Summer Series Road Race: 8 a.m. This week’s race is 4.7 miles. Longshore Country Club, South Compo Road, Westport.

Weston Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to noon. Fresh produce in a family friendly environment. Route 57 and High Acre Road, Weston.

Chris Rowlands: 11 a.m. Family entertainer Chris Rowlands performs. Beardsley Zoo, 1875 Noble Ave., Bridgeport.

St. Ann Italian Feast: 6 to 10 p.m. 16 Hendrick St., Norwalk.

"Romeo and Juliet:" 8 p.m. Connecticut Free Shakespeare presents one of the bard’s most famous plays. McLevy Green, at Main and State streets, Bridgeport.

La Roue Elayne’s Original Sin Band: 9 p.m. La Roue Elayne at Cobb’s Mill Inn, Weston’s newest restaurant offers live music. 12 Old Mill Road, Weston.

Sunday, July 29

Georgetown Farmers Market: 10 a.m. 4 Old Mill Road, Redding.

Redding Concert on the Green: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tirebiter Band plays rowdy rock music. Redding town green.

Scrabble Club: 6 to 9:30 p.m. Scrabble lovers at all levels can enjoy the game. Easton Public Library, 691 Morehouse Road, Easton.
