Westport Gears Up To Welcome 2016 At First Night Festivities

WESTPORT, Conn. — Westport will once again host its First Night celebration at various locations throughout town on Thursday, Dec. 31.

Ring in the new year with the family during First Night, a community-wide New Year's Eve celebration throughout downtown Westport.

Festivities this year include Pyrotechnic Display at 7:30 p.m., shuttle busses to all of the venues participating and a dance party in the streets from 8 to 10 p.m. 

Musical performers include: The Groove Duo, Beau Allen, Chris Coogan and more. 

Activities will begin at 3 p.m. Click here to view a full schedule of events. 

Those wishing to attend must purchase a button for $15 each. Children under the age of 2 are free. Buttons can be purchased online by clicking here. 

Online buyers must print their confirmation and bring it to any of the following locations:
