Weston Women's League To Hold September Supper

WESTON, Conn. ? Residents who think they might want to join the Weston Women’s League can find out more about its activities when the group kicks off its 40th anniversary year at a September Supper. 

The event takes place Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Barcelona Restaurant, 4180 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, and includes cocktails, dinner and a discussion of the coming year’s events and philanthropic efforts. Current members and Weston women who may be interested in joining are welcome.

“Members are very excited to get going on this year’s services, fundraising and social activities. The September Supper is always a great way to transform all the anticipation from the summer into action,” said league President Stacey Tucker.

Upcoming fall and winter events for the Weston Women’s League include the Main Street Weston Shopping event; Red Cross holiday blood drive; Children’s Gingerbread House Brunch, as well as on-going senior lunches and Meals-On-Wheels deliveries.
