'Three Days To See' Invokes Spirit Of Easton's Helen Keller

EASTON, N.Y. -- Helen Keller's stage career continues to this day as the Transport Group presents "Three Days to See," which is a play based on Keller's writing, according to the New York Times.

Keller, a longtime resident of Easton, once took the stage with her teacher, Annie Sullivanm and toured the vaudeville circuit during the 1920's, reported the New York Times.

"Three Days to See," directed by Jack Cummings III and performed by seven actors portraying Keller, is full of energy and depicts Keller in many different lights, according to the Times. Each cast member works i their own magic to use gesture and language as Keller and share things that she would want to see - from an essay written by Keller herself, reported the Times.

"Three Days to See" will continue on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. General admission tickets cost $55; reserved seating costs $65.

The show will be at Theatre 79, 79 East 4th Street between The Bowery and 2nd Avenue, in Manhattan
