'Live From Lincoln Center' Producer Wilk Giving Talk In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Andrew C. Wilk, executive producer of the PBS series "Live from Lincoln Center," will talk about his long career in broadcast entertainment Monday, Sept. 28, at noon in The Westport Library’s McManus Room.

The program, offered in partnership with the Westport/Weston Y’s Women, is free and open to the public. 

Wilk will talk about his role with "Live from Lincoln Center," the longest running arts program on television. 

He will also discuss the changing landscape and the future of media. 

Wilk is a television and media executive who has created innovative, award-winning, and commercially successful entertainment and informational content. 

He has served as chief creative officer of Sony Music Entertainment and executive vice president of programming, production and news for the National Geographic Channel. 

He is also an Emmy Award-winning director, writer and producer of television programming, as well as a critically acclaimed playwright, director and accomplished symphony conductor.
