Fundraiser for Weston's St. Francis Announced

WESTON, Conn. – Irish and Italian cultures are the focus of an upcoming fundraiser that will benefit Weston’s St. Francis of Assisi.

The  St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Fest will kick off on March 10 at 6:30 p.m. and will include live music from the Highland Rovers Irish Band, dancing and silent and live auctions.

Some of the items up for grabs are trips to Italy and Ireland, a private dinner party by Jonathan Mathias of A Dash of Salt, and tickets to a Red Sox game with a stay at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, Mass.

There is also a chance to win hot-air balloon rides, spa and beauty items, and kid- and adult-themed baskets. St. Francis pastor's, Father Michael Dunn, is offering to cook a deep-fried Cajun turkey or penne alla vodka at your home. 

Proceeds will benefit St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
