Eversource Repairs Power Outages In Westport

Eversource is continuing to work to restore power across Connecticut on Friday afternoon. Tens of thousands were left in the dark after a powerful storm early Thursday.

updated: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Eversource has repaired the power outages reported Monday morning in Monroe, Norwalk, Trumbull, Weston and Westport, but problems persisted in Ridgefield.

As of 1 p.m., Ridgefield was reporting 118 power outages.

As of 11 a.m., outages continued in:

  • Monroe: 90
  • Norwalk: 5, down from 94 
  • Ridgefield: 135
  • Trumbull: 18 
  • Wilton: 7

The following power outages were reported at 8:15 a.m.: 

  • Norwalk: 94 
  • Westport: 19 
  • Wilton: 2

It was not clear when the outages would be restored.
