Here are some of the events coming up this week:
10:30 a.m. Wednesday -- Baby/Toddler Be-Bop. This 25-minute music and movement class incorporates popular children's songs, finger plays and simple stories while using props such as puppets, tambourines and rhythm sticks. It is intended to be an interactive class for children and their caregivers. Ages 6 to 36 months. Registration is not required. Location: Library Community Room.
3 p.m. Wednesday -- Preschool Story Time. Join us for stories and a themed craft. Ages 3 and up. Registration is not required.
11 a.m. Thursday -- Plastic Lid Flowers. Make your own garden of flowers out of jar and bottle lids. Grades K-2. Registration is required.
2 p.m. Thursday -- Compost Stew. This program, presented by the DEEP's Kellogg Environmental Center, will allow you to get your hands dirty. Explore soil and make Seed Bombs for your garden, using compost and a mystery mix of seeds. Ages 5 to 8. Registration is required. Location: Library Community Room.
