Bikes4Bikes Holds Charity Ride At Sherwood Island State Park

WESTPORT, Conn. – Northeast Community Cycles is holding its second annual Fall Foliage Bike4Bikes Charity Bike Ride on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 7 a.m. at Sherwood Island State Park, rain or shine. The fall ride will support efforts to provide bikes to the needy.

Bikers can choose from three routes: a gentle 20 miles, a moderate 75K (47 miles) or a more challenging 100K (62 miles). All routes include two rest stops with water and snacks. A lunch of chili, cornbread and pie will be served after the ride.

Registration is $49 for adults and $35 for children under 18 years of age. Participating cyclists will receive a free Bike4Bikes T-shirt at registration. All proceeds raised from the charity bike ride will go to helping more needy children and adults in Fairfield County get bicycles with new helmets.
