Women’s Business Development Advisers To Visit Westport-Weston Chamber

WESTON, Conn. — The Women’s Business Development Council is offering personalized consultations with expert business advisers at the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday. 

The advisers will provide comprehensive strategies for marketing and expanding businesses. The Women’s Business Development Council provides entrepreneurial and financial training for women in Connecticut.

No appointment is necessary. Just walk in to the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce at 41 Riverside Ave. in Westport. The Marketing session will be Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 1 to 5 p.m. The Business session will be Tuesday, Sept 10, from 1 to 5 p.m. 

Whether starting a business or taking your business to the next level, WBDC encourages dropping in for a free, confidential meeting. Advisers will focus on business strategies for growth; financing options and loan packaging assistance; marketing analysis, social media and Internet marketing.

WBDC programs and services foster entrepreneurship through workshops, long-term series and counseling.  In addition, it assists clients in gaining control of their personal finances or preparing to re-enter or grow in the workplace.
