Westport Gets A New Chef-Driven Restaurant With Match Burger Lobster

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Chef Matt Storch, the executive chef and owner of Match in SoNo and The Chelsea in Fairfield and the head chef at Nom-Eez in Bridgeport, is bringing his restaurant magic to Westport with the opening of Match Burger Lobster.

The new family-friendly fast casual concept, set to open later this summer/early September, is located in the space next to Fleishers Craft Butchery in the space that previously housed Fleishers Craft Kitchen.

Expect fresh seafood such as lobster rolls, whole lobsters, a variety of burgers, local Copps Island oysters, paper-thin onion rings, donut milk shakes, foot-long hot dogs from Fleishers. There will also be wine and beer.

Storch is also planning a pass open between the restaurant and the butcher shop.

Match Burger Lobster is at 580 Riverside Ave.
