It’s the third Fairfield County location for the healthful snack purveyor, joining the company’s outlets in Fairfield and South Norwalk.
In addition to juice, owners Carissa and Mike Hvizdo sell plant-based snacks, sandwiches and baked goods. Produce and other ingredients are sourced locally.
The Stand Juice Company’s original location opened in 2005 on Wall Street in Norwalk.
“We had no idea what we were doing,” said Carissa Hvizdo. “All we knew was that we believed in our product and we had an opportunity to introduce an organic, GMO-free, sustainable, vegan-based product to people who were hungry for a healthful food alternative.”
All three Stand Juice Company locations offer freshly made juices and blended drinks as well as a variety of prepared grab-and-go foods, including gluten-free baked goods, salads, soups, and other items.
The Stand Juice Company is planning a fourth location for a site in Greenwich.
