Compo Farm Florists started 23 years ago as a fruit, vegetable, and grocery shop, but due to customers' request it switched to selling just flowers. They are gearing up for Easter, where popular flowers include tulips, ranunculus, peonies, lilies, hydrangeas, freesias and veronicas.

Kim offers to make arrangements free to customers who come in and purchase a vase or bring one from home, she said.

The store sells flowers for weddings, bar mitzvahs, baby showers, wedding showers, and funerals.

Compo Farm Flowers locations are 392 Post Road East in Westport and 27 Tokeneke Road in Darien.
