Dog Bitten By Snake Rescued From CT State Park
A dog rescued from a Connecticut state park had been bitten by a copperhead snake. The dog was rescued in New Haven County from Sleeping Giant State Park by Hamden County Animal Control employees and Hamden County Fire Department members on Wednesday, June 12. A guide dog from Massachusetts who has been dubbed the "Goodest Girl in STEM" on TikTok is in need of help as she fights for her life in New York. CT Aquarium Says Another Beluga Whale 'Extremely Ill' Weeks After Another Whale's Death
Mystic Aquarium is reporting that one of its beluga whales has fallen "extremely ill" weeks after the death of another whale at the aquarium. The Connecticut aquarium reported on Tuesday, Aug. 24, that testing revealed that the female whale has low white blood cell count and gastrointestinal issues. The whale arrived at the aquarium from Canada in May.
