Woman Driving Drunk, Wrong Way Nabbed After Vehicle Bursts Into Flames On CT Roadway: Police A woman was apprehended outside a vehicle that had burst into flames after police say she was driving the wrong way while intoxicated on a Connecticut roadway. The incident happened in Hartford County just before 3 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 on I-384 in Manchester. Connecticut State Police Troop H in Hartford received multiple calls reporting a wrong way driver traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes. Driver, Passenger Killed After Car Crashes Down Embankment On I-91, CT State Police Say Connecticut State Police are asking the public for help identifying two people who were killed in a single-car crash. The crash took place in New Haven County on I-91 in North Haven around 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30 near Exit 12. Police said a 2011 Hyundai Sonata was traveling northbound on I-91 when it passed the off-ramp and ran off the road to the right.  The car then traveled down an embankment and collided with a tree, causing the car to catch on fire, state police said. 2 Cars Burst Into Flames Outside CT Gym Two cars and part of a fence were destroyed by fire in Fairfield County while their owners were exercising inside a gym. The fire took place in the town of Fairfield around 9:50 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15 in the parking lot of the Equinox Gym located at 226 Old Post Road. 29-Year-Old Killed In Crash On Merritt Parkway State Police are searching for witnesses to a fiery crash that killed a 29-year-old Fairfield County man in a three-car collision on the Merritt Parkway. The crash took place in Stamford around 10:20 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31 on the northbound side, Connecticut State Police said. Driver Dies In Fiery Single-Vehicle Crash In Connecticut Police are investigating after a driver was killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash in Connecticut.  Authorities in Hartford County responded to a report of a crash in the area of Center Street and Fairview Street in Manchester at about 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, May 15, according to the Manchester Police Department.
