Tragedy: 2 Children Killed In CT Crash Two children ages 3 and 6 were killed and several people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle Connecticut crash. The crash took place in western New Haven County around 3:30 p.m. Sunday,  Feb. 4 in Beacon Falls in the northbound lanes of Route 8. According To Connecticut State Police, a Honda Civic, with two adults and two children, and a Ford F-600 with one adult were traveling in the left lane of two on Route 8 when the Ford ran into the back of the Civic. Driver Killed After Compact SUV Crashes Into Tree On CT Roadway A driver was killed in an overnight crash in Fairfield County. It happened around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 on Route 8 in Shelton. A 2013 Nissan Rogue was traveling northbound approximately one-quarter mile south of Exit 14 when it left the roadway and entered the roadside where it collided with a tree, Connecticut State Police said.  Following impact with the tree, the Rogue caught fire.  The driver, whose identity is not yet known, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.  This collision remains under investigation.  Anyone who may …
