Speeding 22-Year-Old Nabbed In CT For DUI, Driving On Suspended License, Police Say A speeding 22-year-old Fairfield County man was charged with allegedly driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. Pedro Jesus Aguilar Madrid, of Stamford, was stopped on Thursday, Nov. 23, in Wilton driving a Ford Fusion for driving 68 mph in a 30 mph zone, said Wilton Police. During the stop, Madrid was found to be under the influence of alcohol, said Lt. Anna Tornello, of the Wilton Police. Driver Dies After Rollover Crash In Region A woman has died following a rollover car crash in the region. The 31-year-old woman, who has not been identified, died following the Western Massachusetts crash in West Springfield, on Thursday, Sept. 23. Hampden District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Jim Leydon, said the crash took place on Memorial Avenue when the driver of an SUV struck another vehicle. After hitting the vehicle, the woman lost control of the SUV and hit a guiderail, causing it to roll over and catch fire, he said. Police said speeding is being considered as a factor in the crash.
