Toddler, 2, Killed In Single-Vehicle CT Crash A 2-year-old boy was killed in a single-vehicle crash after the car he was a passenger in collided with a utility pole and was trapped by a tree on the side of a Fairfield County roadway. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 6 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6 on Reservoir Avenue near Saunders Avenue. CT Teen Fighting For Life After Being Shot At School Bus Stop, Police Say A Fairfield County teen is fighting for his life after being shot while waiting at a school bus stop for his young cousin. The incident took place around 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 3 at the intersection of Trumbull and Reservoir avenues in Bridgeport. According to Detective Thomas Harper of the Bridgeport Police, the 19-year-old was waiting for his 9-year-old cousin at the bus stop on Trumbull Avenue when a vehicle drove up and someone inside shot him, causing life-threatening injuries.
