CT Duo Nabbed After Causing Fight In Bar, Police Say Two Fairfield County men were charged with trespass and assault after allegedly starting a fight at a crowded bar. Bridgeport resident Juan Torres, age 35, and Newtown resident Alexander Rosa, age 41, were arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 24, following the fight at the Rum & Tequila Bar in Bridgeport. Police Seeking Help After CT Woman Found In Roadway With Serious Injuries Police are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle that may have hit a woman found lying on the ground at an intersection in Fairfield County with serious injuries. Bridgeport Police received several calls around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14 regarding a woman lying at the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Bishop Avenue. 24-Year-Old Dies After Hit-Run CT Crash A 24-year-old man was killed when he was struck in Fairfield County by a hit-and-run driver, police said. The victim was struck around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, near the intersection of Waterview Avenue and Crescent Avenue. Capt. Lonnie Blackwell of the Bridgeport Police said Enamorado was riding a motorized bicycle when he was struck near the intersection by a vehicle that fled the area.
