State Police Cruiser Struck On I-84 In Hartford A Connecticut State Police cruiser was hit on I-84 west as a trooper investigated another crash. The incident took place in Hartford near Exit 48 around 5 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers from Troop H responded to a collision and were out of the vehicle when another vehicle crashed into their cruiser. No injuries were reported in the crash, state police said. Information was not available regarding the type of vehicle that hit the cruiser or the name of the driver.  The crash is under investigation.

Impaired CT Woman Caught Driving Wrong Way In Construction Zone, Police Say A Connecticut woman was busted allegedly driving drunk or high on drugs in the wrong direction in a construction zone on Route 9. The incident took place in Farmington around 12:40 a.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 31. According to state police, Mindy Lee Rivera, age 37, of New Britain was arrested after troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 9 South where I-84 East and West merge.  Upon arrival, troopers found two vehicles in the left lane adjacent to the construction pattern just north of the Route 9 turnaround and Rivera standing in between the left and right lanes on Route 9 So…
