According to Assistant Chief Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police, the incident occurred around 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, when the man drove off the end of Steamboat Road. Woman Charged With Manslaughter In Overdose Death Of CT Resident A woman has been charged with manslaughter in the alleged overdose death of a Fairfield County resident. The death took place in Greenwich on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, according to Capt. John Slusarz of the Greenwich Police. When officers arrived at the home in the western section of town, they found the 40-year-old unidentified Greenwich man dead, Slusarz said. Catherine Harper, of Greenwich, was arrested on a warrant on Friday, Jan. 5 for the text she sent on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023. According to Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police, Harper was charged with threatening and held on a $50,000 bond which she could not make.  Police did not provide additional information regarding who she sent the text to.  This is a developing story. CT Man Nabbed For Endangering Child When Overdose Occurs, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with alleged risk of injury to a child after an overdose occurred close to the youngster. Harris Grannick, age 45, of Greenwich, was charged on Tuesday, Dec. 2 in Greenwich for an incident that occurred in December 2023. According to Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police, Grannick was charged with risk of injury to a child and reckless endangerment after an overdose took place in an apartment with a child nearby. Police did not say if the overdose victim survived. He was released on a $50,000 bond.
