Suspect In CT Near-Fatal Bus Stabbing Nabbed A suspect has been charged in the alleged near-fatal stabbing of a man at a Fairfield County bus stop. Olajuwon Raheem Clarke, age 29, homeless, was taken into custody in Brooklyn for the Monday, Nov. 20 stabbing of a Stamford man on a CT Transit bus, said Capt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police. Witnesses reported that the CT Transit bus stopped at the bus stop and a man got on the bus and engaged the victim in an argument. New Haven County resident Alaja Dixon, age 21, of New Haven, was arrested on Sunday, June 4 in Milford. According to Milford Police, officers were dispatched to 1588 Boston Post Road for a disturbance on a CT Transit bus.  The bus driver told officers that Dixon came onto the bus and immediately became disruptive and threatened to beat up the driver, police said. Man Charged After Attempting To Enter CT Elementary School, Police Say A man from out of state has been charged after police said he attempted to enter an elementary school in Fairfield County. Woman Struck, Killed By CT Transit Bus A Connecticut woman was hit and killed by a bus. The crash took place around 6:45 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, in New Haven. New Haven Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian being struck by a CT Transit bus, on Chapel Street, between Orange Street and Church Street. According to Officer Scott Shumway, responding officers located the victim, a 40-year-old New Haven woman, who was later pronounced dead on the scene.
